Having created several recorded performances for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers, AVGA was asked to produce, post and deliver a Tonight Show guest spot for music artist Justine Skye. This time, less than 72 hours before the airdate.
In concert with the artist and her team, AVGA suggested a true one-take to maximize the intimate, live feeling of the performance. Under our precise direction, a manual jib was employed to create fluid 360° movement in time with the artist's improvisational choices as well as rehearsed choreography. 12 takes were blocked and shot in a single night on our LA soundstage, with editorial, color and broadcast finish performed in house.
